Parts not covered under warranty are hoses, washers, jets, hinges etc. 1. This warranty is confined to first purchaser of the product only. 2. Warranty period is valid from date of purchase of the product. Benefits of warranty can only be availed subject to verification of invoice and warranty card by the company. Customers are therefore required to keep the original invoice and warranty card of product safely. The company shall make its best endeavour to provide onsite warranty services but due to unavoidable/exceptional circumstances the product may be required for offsite inspection at company's service centre/service centre of company's authorized service associate. 3. For all units installed beyond the municipal limits of the jurisdiction of the company's service centre/service centre of company's authorized service associate, the expenses incurred with regards to deputing the service personnel towards to & from travel, conveyance and other incidental expenses etc. will be borne by customer. 4. In the event of repair/replacement of any parts of the unit, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of warranty. Moreover, the time taken for repair/replacement in transit, whether under the warranty or otherwise, shall not be excluded from the warranty period. 5. The company and its authorized service centre/authorized service associate reserves the right to retain any parts or components replaced, at its discretion, in the event of a defect noticed in the product during the warranty period. 6. Replacement of parts would be purely at the discretion of Kerovit alone. In case the replacement of the entire unit is being made, (subject to the sole discretion of Kerovit), the same model shall be replaced and in the event such model has been discontinued, it shall be replaced with the model of an equivalent price at the time of purchase. 7. The company will make every effort to carry out repairs at the earliest within a reasonable period of time. However, it is expressly clear that the company is under no obligation to do so in a specified period of time. 8. This warranty shall not cover any consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss to property or life arising directly or indirectly out of any defect in the product. The company's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of defective parts/product only under the warranty period. 9. The warranty does not cover any accessories external to the product. After completion of warranty period, in case of any defect, standard part charges will be charged from customer as per prevailing rates of the company. 10. In case of any dispute, this warranty is subject to jurisdiction of Morbi (Gujarat) courts only. 1. Proof of purchase i.e. invoice in original and/or warranty card is not shown to company's authorized service personnel at the time of repair/making claim. In such cases, service will still be rendered however it will be on chargeable basis as per the standard rates of labours and/or parts (as the case may be), prevailing at the point of time. 2. The product is not installed/used according to the instruction given in instruction/installation manual. 3. Site conditions, where the product is installed, do not conform to the recommended operating conditions of the product as specified in the instruction manual of the product (supplied along with the product). 4. Defect(s) caused by improper use & negligent handling, as determined by the company. 5. Defect is caused due to the cause beyond reasonable control like lightening, acts of god, abnormal water supply/pressure or while in transit from dealer's outlet to purchaser's residence. 6. This warranty will automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period, even if the product may not be in use for any time during the warranty period for any reason whatsoever. • Use a soft dampened sponge or cloth to clean products at least once a day to keep product surface free of any deposits. Rinse and be sure to wipe the entire surface dry with a soft cloth. • Use a mild detergent (such as dishwashing soap). Do not use flush cleaners or cleaners containing ammonia, bleach, acid such as Harpic etc. Most toilet cleaning products have high acidic content which can damage the chrome finish, hence these should not be used to clean chrome finish. • Never use abrasive material like a bristle brush or scouring pad. • Always test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area on the product before applying it to the entire surface. PROTECT YOUR PRODUCTS FROM: Acid Fumes: When we clean the tiles or floors in the bathroom with cleaning agents which contain acids or chemicals, acid fumes are formed. Because the basic material used in the products is brass, brass being an alloy of copper reacts with these acid fumes. With this reaction, a green coloured layer is formed on the products resulting in damage to the outer finish or coating. Atmospheric conditions: This condition applies mostly to salt content in the air in coastal areas, sometime the air reacts with brass and black spots emerge on the surface of product. Therefore, the product is required to be cleaned regularly. At the time of installation of these products, cover the products with the cloth covers provided in packaging or with polythene till the time you actually start using them. Scratching while cleaning: Scratching or scrubbing occurs due to hard nature of cloth or coarse cleaning powder being used for cleaning. Use a gentle fluffy soft cloth for cleaning the surface. Water Scaling: Due to presence of minerals and salt in water, scaling is formed on the product if it is not cleaned regularly. The products should be cleaned gently at regular intervals. Also take extra care to clean the edges and corners of the products because these areas are more vulnerable for scale settling. Clean the aerators from time to time for a perfect foam flow of water from the fittings. The property of water being used is very important for your plumbing installations (Pipes etc.) as well. as for your own hygiene. The hardness of water should not exceed 300-400ppm.
